Accacia was born in Lisbon, out of almost twenty years of funding applications Melanie Ligeiro prepared by hand.
Is Accacia for institutions or for founders?
Both. Incubators, universities, public bodies and associations follow their project portfolio in Accacia; founders, startups and SMEs create an account directly, with or without a programme. Each door has its own page.
Where do the Radar opportunities come from?
From official calls: grants, credit lines and guarantees, public tenders and accelerator programmes across Portugal, the European Union and Portuguese-speaking countries, with international sources such as the World Bank. Each one shows its official source and the date it was verified.
Does Accacia confirm eligibility or approval?
No. It shows what fits, what is missing and the official source of each call. The decision always rests with the body responsible for the call, and the conditions should be confirmed at the official source.
